Have there been any GPU related faults noted yet?
I intially wanted to get the M1330/M1530 but the GPU faults were a deal breaker. Its like a time-ticking bomb attached to the laptop.
Being a student, i want this expensive laptop to last me 4-5 years through med school.

I am planning on getting just the integrating graphics card

Also, in the hybrid-SLI mode ; do you need to restart before changing the graphics cards (incase the deal on SLI is too hard to resist)?

The SXPS13 is the only one with Hybrid SLI.

The SXPS13 has an integrated 9400M and dedicated 9200M GS - neither of which are affected by the Nvidia 8-series mobile chip problems. So the SXPS13 won't have the same chronic graphics chip failures the XPS 1330 had.

And no, you don't have to restart. You can switch between integrated or SLI on-the-fly.
