    Hi,
The 30% off deal expires tonight so most likely I will place my m1530 order today. Do you guys know of any additional discount or deals I can add on top of this?

I have also compared to deals I get through EPP, and I don't get anything as low as this.

    M5130
    8300
    hi-res screen
    4gb ram
    160gb 7200rpm
    128 nvidia
    3 yr warranty

    Final price after discounts $1301

You guys know any way to make it better?

    Thanks

ya, be thankful for what you get, like holy sh*t, If Canadians ever got more than like 10 percent off we would have tears of joy in our eyes, 30 percent is really good, I got nearly the same computer as you for close to $2200 dollars

The Canadians have the promotional discount coupons of 20%, 50% or 75% off. I'm buying one with my 20% off coupon. I'd like to wait for the Precision M6400 but I have no idea when thats coming out.

You can't stack deals, discounts or coupons with other coupons.

Are you sure about EPP? Paper Wastage posted a nice starting bundle that has some upgrades on your config for less money.

Hi paper wastage, I have tried your deal. But with the setup I want the prices goes to around $1800. It's still not a better deal than the 30% off.

somekevinguy, what coupons did you use?

I started with the configuration from paperwastage which is already discounted and has 8% off on top of that right now and since I upgraded to a blu-ray drive etc to make it over $1600 before discounts I got 12% instead of 8% and then I used the EPP 5% stackable coupon and then I got another 4% for using the Dell credit card and even got 12 months no interest financing on top of that which is worth about $150+ in finance discount if you go full term and pay it off on time.

Isn't the 30% off coupon for the m1330 only? When I try to apply it to a m1530 over $1600 it doesn't work. Plus it says on this website that it's for the m1330

What config did you use? I came up with $1195, not $1800.

My bad. My total with EPP was $1500 with the a 250gb 7200rpm hard drive.
And I couldn't figure out how to add any more coupons. I couldn't get the 5% one, it says I need to be a member. And I don't know what else to use. Maybe if you PM me a code I can use it?

    Will you?

In the meantime, I have saved a non-EPP setup, which is pretty much the same as the EPP, but with 160gb 7200rpm, true hi-res screem, but 128mb nvidia, and 3 yr warranty. After 30% off. Total was $1300.

    Thanks

Doesn't make much difference for me. I am not a gamer. Just a heavy user. Lots of multi tasking, web design, etc.. No 3D applications or games.

It's more important for me to have the hi-res screen. I usually work with at least 1280x1024. The screen that comes with EPP, has max width resolution of 800.

I definitely don't need res all the way up to 1920x1200, but it's either one or the other.

Now, here is a question. Since 1920x1200 is the native res, how is it going to look if I lower it a bit via settings? Will it not be as crisp?
