Wondering if any m1330 or m1530 owners have tried or use RollBack RX ?

Seems to be a more robust, option filled program to replace Window's System Restore.

I'm wondering if you gain disk space using this program. They say that it replaces System Restore, which requires 10-15% of your disk to make restore points. RollBack RX Professional requires .1% of disk space! (How the heck can they do that???? ) If that's the case, I should regain the 10-15% space I'm currently using for System Restore, right?

If anyone is/has used this, any negatives? (Other then the price)

    Some of the highlights...

    RollBack Rx doesn’t impact performance
RollBack Rx™ only takes 0.1% of total hard disk space.
    Supports virtually unlimited snapshots.
Takes less than 3 seconds to create a new snapshot.
Creates a complete system snapshot without restarting the system.
Create new snapshots manually, automatically or upon file execution.
Recovers corrupted or deleted files from any snapshots easily and quickly.
Revert file histories from any of the 60,000 snapshots.
Restores a completely crashed system to any snapshot in seconds.
Restores a completely crashed system with data up to the second of crash.
Restores entire system to any of the 60,000 snapshots.
Restores system to any snapshot with data synchronization.
Configure the system to automatically restore to a snapshot of your choice.
Highly configurable interface - hide program interface from end users.

Sorry if I put this on the wrong board, but I'd like feedback specifically from m1330 and m1530 owners and wasn't sure what board to put this thread on.

    Thanks!

    i'm using rollback rx8.1

this software is a must for me since i installed a lot of trial software (NVIDIA driver, drivers update, games, etc.).....and if that software didn't work (due to conflict with other software) and i got BSOD (BLue Screen of Death) it takes me 2mins to remove that software without any trace from my computer.

if you got viruse infection.....you just need to restore to your previous clean system......virus is deleted without any trace.

also, if you're system can't restart due to faulty software or viruses.....you can boot using Rollback Rx8.1 recovery disc and restore your clean system by accessing you external HDD to restore your save image.

if you need to reformat your HDD (due to faulty software or viruses) you can use to restore you saved image so that you will save your time in installing all drivers software and windows update (its better to make an image when you first install your operating system + software & windows update)

it save me big bucks and precious time when i installed this Rollback Rx8.1 ....instead of going to internet or forum to ask some health and waste other time.

    Thanks for your response.

So, am I correct that once RollBack is installed, you (or the software) disable the System Restore of Windows?

Does RollBack need to modify your harddrive when you install it? Any conflicts with other programs, or with Dell Media center, for example?

    Seems like a great program!

    Thanks!

IMHO, you dont need window system restore with or without RollbackRx.

    Rollback didnt modify my HDD.

I have software installed in my XPS (Dell Media Center, PowerDVD, autocad, msproject, trading software, Nero, AnyDVD, DVDFab, Firefox, kaspersky AV, Command & Conquerer, etc. etc.) i never experience any software conflict with Rollback Rx.

absolutely it's a good software, but expensive though.
