    Hi,
I've got a Dell XPS L502x and I want to put a skin on the cover from some place like Skin-It:
Custom Phone Covers, Phone Cases & Skins For Electronics | Skinit

but they only show pre-sized skins for the L501x and NOT the L502x.
I know there are some differences between the 2 models, like the keyboard is different, but does anyone know if the size of the surface of the top of the lid is any different?

I would think they are identical but don't know for sure? Anyone know? Do you think I would be ok just ordering the one for the L501x?
    Thanks

    Agreed.......

To OP: the chassis is the same, guts were different (CPU/mobo/GPU). Even the port placement is identical.
