I have the xps m1530 with the LED screen & one of the things i love about it is the 5.8 lbs weight. Can any of you confirm the weight of the studio xps 16 with the 15.6" screen? Dell's website claims around 6.5 lbs but i think that may be with the 16" screen since it originally came out with that. Do any of you have the 15.6" screen studio xps? If so can you guys put it on an actual weighing scale to find out the exact weight, i'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

i think the weight is negligible due to the size of the screen at most it would be a few oz's were talking about .4 of an inch not a drastic size difference

Mine w/15.6" 1080p screen has a 9 cell battery and weighs in at 6.78lb. I took the battery off and it weighs in at 5.7lb. (Battery about 1lb).

But, I have 8GB of RAM, so that adds to the weight. ;)
