As the title says, anybody knows how to bring this "Firmware" on my device manager? I'm running out of ideas![]()
Below photo isn't mine.

Tried that and this "Set devmgr_show_nonpresent_devices=1" to no avail.
Thanks though
Any more suggestion is welcome. -

You have to right click on the subcategory " System Firmware" and choose update driver and then the system flashes the BIOS - takes awhile. I tried initially to double click System Firmware and do update driver from there - didn't work.
I have Windows 10 Pro Version 1511 (Build 10586.36) -

That is odd - my system has always had "Firmware" right after Display adapters. I have no idea why that isn't there - we have the same version of Windows. -
Some possibilities, you need windows 10 pro?
Or hit F12 on reboot, and check your bios, i think there is a option to enable firmware updates through windows. the very last one IIRC. -

Mind checking your Windows version and build? This is one possible reason
My machine came with the previous version/build and it has the "firmware" on device manager
EDIT: I'm currently on Windows 10 Version 1511 (Build 10586.36)
EDIT 2: Also. did you wipe your drive clean (removing all partitions) before doing the clean install? -

Look at my previous post - I have the same version and build of Windows as you do - it is also Windows 10 PRO.
Recently I had what I thought were driver issues with getting a couple of USB drives to download large video files so I did a system reset and Windows was reinstalled and went right to Pro - all windows updates were installed automatically during the process. (It didn't fix the external drive issue however - that is related to GTechnology drives). I didn't do anything about partitions - I just used the option to proceed and not retain my personal files. -

Did you re-enabled the Legacy mode after clean install? -

I never fool around with Legacy mode - just checked my BIOS - it is UEFI all the way. -

@planetweckesser
Alright. That 850MB partition might have something to do with this then. I'll try to go back to original OS then reinstall like you did. Wish I can install Win 7 on this machine instead. -

Under disk management for C drive I have 500 MB (EFI System) then my main partition then 852MB Recovery partition and finally 11.66 GB Recovery Partition. -

I never use Legacy mode - not sure what it's for except for compatibility with some older systems -

Alright. Thanks for taking the time to check.
Anybody knows why I don't have this on my device manager?
