I'm having a problem with my screen on my 1530 LED, after 15 mins of use it looks like half the screen is burnt out. Has anyone had this problem or seen this before?

About a month ago I called Dell and they sent a repair guy out, but twice they sent the wrong screen (wouldn't fit), and after putting the old screen back in the problem seemed to be gone. But now it is happening again so I guess I'll call dell again.

The repair guy said also since they sent the wrong screen twice, the next time something happened I can get a new notebook due to the fact that it had to be worked on three times, can anyone verify if this is true?

Also when I run a diagnostic test in the boot screen an error comes up that says Error Code 0326 MSG: Error Code 2000-0326 MSG: LCD Inverter - Unable to turn lamo on, vender: YYV Revision: 0.

    Anyone seen this before?

No I haven't seen it before, but it's clearly a hardware problem.
You'll have to call Dell. I don't know whether they'll try to fix it again or if they'll agree to send you a new laptop. If I understand what you wrote, they never did replace the screen -- only took the old one out and put it back in.

It looks like half of the LEDs are off. I messed with drivers and brightness settings on my M1330's LEDs and I managed to see each individual LEDs like what you're seeing, but were really dim. Looks like you're on the highest brightness, so there's something wrong with your LEDs or the hardware that controls the LEDs. It's probably a loose connection somewhere.

Yea thats right, after them sending the wrong screen twice and having to set up a time for the repair guy to come twice only to have it not to fit, both times, so I'm still using the original screen. The strange thing is the problem disappeared for a good month, but now is back. So should I call and ask for a whole new notebook? Or just ask for a new screen and hope third time is a charm.

If it happens after a set amount of time, it's probably the inverter(s) that's going bad. Inverters are easy to replace, but I don't know how easy to find these things are.

Yea the problem occurs about a half hour after turning on the notebook, then the lines start to show up. After a restart they aren't there anymore till 15-30 mins later again.
