    Hey.

Wanted to know...Anyone else using any other resolution other than 1920x1080 on XPS 15?

I wanted to try 1600x900 and set DPI to 100% but it didnt work out well, alot of blurry on screen.

So went back to 1920x1080 with DPI at 125%.

    Thanks.

When you try to set it to 768p (is there such a thing?) how does it look on a 1080p screen?

Not all intense games like SC2 can handle well on 1080p given Intel I5 w/ Geforce 420m.

but you can still configure the games to run on lower resolution and keep the system's regular resolutions

some people just want the better quality screen and not more dots...

anyways as far as the original question goes... i don't, i left it on 1920x1080... and changed the DPI from the 125% it came with to 100%... looks good and makes everything fit great :D... though i'm now disappointed when i use other computers with different screens xD

    I have a question.

If you were to set the resolution to say 1600x900 and then watch a 1080p video on the laptop, would the video display at full 1080p or no?

noo... you would see it at 900p... it would be downscaled... that's why the PPI is a better solution if you find it hard to read...
