    Ok. So my adapter is not working anymore because of a surge in power. The local tech guy after checking it with a meter tells me that its main circuit is fried so it wont work, there is a way to repair it but its better if i get a new one i was just curious if the local warranty covers the adapter? The laptop is fine.

    By the way I got it from Shophive.
