I just recieved my replacement m1330 today and the current LED is noticeably grainy and washed out compared to my first unit. They are going to send a technichian out with the same model LED as my first unit to replace it. I'm a little nervous about having it replaced. Has anyone had a technichian replace theirs? Do tey replace the entire top part of the 1330?

    THanks

I've only had my M1210's screen replaced, they only put a panel in, but they damaged the front and back sections prying it apart, so they had to send new ones.

It's a simple procedure. You sound like you're about to have open heart surgury.

I've gone through this many times. Technicians did the 4 replacements, and I did the other 2 replacements. It's an easy process. They dont replace the back panel and the bezel; they will just put in a new LED panel.

Based on my experience, here are few suggestions. Before he takes the screen assembly apart, ask to check the replacement part first. Take a look at the screen to make sure that they sent you the right one. One time, they sent a regular (CCFL) LCD instead of LED. Checking this first will eliminate wasting any time.

Furthermore, you should check the LED screen and see what brand it is. From the symptoms you are describing, it seems that you have a CMO LED. If you dont want the same LED as a replacement, you can check the screen first and determine the brand. If that's another CMO, you can refuse the repair and ask for another one (with the hope that it will be a Toshiba, or even better a Samsung LED).

    Good luck!

They are doing wonders with Trans Radial Angioplasty. For many people the traditional approach of a Surgeon cutting open your chest is not necessary.
They enter through your wrist and push a surgical wire through a catheter and use little drills to clear out the plaque and occlusions in your hearts veins from such poor, unhealthy living.

Yes, relax, all is well. Backup your data and keep your warranty alive!

    Blessings,
