    See thread title -- Dell recently added an option to get the Studio XPS 16 without the leather on the side (the leather's now 40 extra bucks). Anyone have pics who has bought this version?

    I ordered mine yesterday, but est. arrival is the 27th. It's still "processing" so hopefully that date will move up. Then maybe I can start actually contributing to this site instead of lurking :p Site's been a big help though. Hopefully someone will post a pic up. FYI, if you haven't purchased yet, though it takes some digging, there's a 25% off deal on the XPS Studio 16.

    Once I found the 25% coupon, I did go a bit crazy with the options. Final price minus taxes was $2555.25

    I am not really worried about the whole leather/no-leather thing, I didn't have a choice and it wasn't a deal breaker, but probably wouldn't have opted to pay for it.

    What are people's opinions about durability, fit and feel when they have it in their hot l'il hands?
