    I've had my Studio XPS 16 for nearly six months and I have yet to figure out why the MyDellDownloads website doesn't work. https://smartsource.dell.com/

    I'm able to register and login, however I get stuck on the regesteration screen. I've tried using IE7 & IE8 (both 64-bit and 32-bit) and Google Chrome web browsers.

    Anyone else have better luck? :confused:

    This is an old thread, but yeah Im having troubles too. I have an account but I cant register my system. If you did fix this, please tell me how, or anyone else.

    Im also having this issue. I asked them to send me backup cds of the programs that came installed, and they told me the only way to get these programs is through mydelldownloads.com. Site won't let me log in ever. Weak.

    Ok, "fixed" it. It only works with Internet Explorer and only when it wants to because I tried before but didnt worked, now I guess it decided to start working. Try it.

    Sorry,

    Works fine for me. I just used Chrome 32.

    Maybe something in your security settings?
