I know the M1210 has been long discontinued, but I personally liked its design over the M1330 personally. I like my notebooks to have a small footprint, and don't mind if its a bit chunky. I also miss the rotating webcam from it as well.
Of course the M1330 has important, distinct advantages like the LED backlit screen and slot-loading drive for some, though I'd still like a tray drive in rare cases of oddly shaped discs.
I was wondering if anyone else felt the same? It looks like a 12" XPS won't be coming anytime soon though.![]()

from the way things seem to be going, at least the way things are being rumored, no new XPS laptops will be coming soon, but i kinda do know what u mean. I dont have either of those but i did just buy an M1530 and its nice but i know what u mean about how being a little blocky and chunky isnt always a bad thing, it seems those laptops seem to be a bit sturdier and last longer IMO

Exactly how i feel...
plus i think the m1210 didnt sell as much so maintains a little exclusivity(rarity)
the problem is that with these laptops you can forget gaming. but if i were to chose a laptop that small it would be the 1210,
id even pick the new inspiron 13 over the 1330 -
Did it blow up/fail/die/need mobo replacements? No? - then yes, I prefer it!
Rgds
Anyone prefered the M1210 over M1330?
