I was given "Mercenaries 2" as a gift, and it is as of now, unopened - so it could be returned if need be. I'd like to run this on my 1530, but would rather return it if the 1530 is not equipped for this game. Anyone playing this game on a 1530? Thanks.

you could do both of those things, but just based on what ive seen, and to give you a quick answer, id say in my opinion it will play it. maybe not at highest settings or anything but it will play it.

The 8600M GT will definitely run it....but not on high or anything like that.

It'l run it if you overclock the card (Maybe)

I'm not trying to be negative or anything but the recommended is a Core 2 Duo 2.66 GHz and a 512MB graphics card (GeForce 8800 or better)

Those specs are pretty high so running it decently might be too optimistic.

like u said, recommended. It will definitely run with lower settings, just not high settings like recommended would be for.

Yeah I agree it´s pure garbage. The visuals in that game does not correlate to the high minimum specs at all. The game is pure rubbish as far as optimizations go. It actually looks like an old PS2 game.
