    Anyones Brick gone bad on their 1530, before their battery did?

    My brick/adapter is going going gone..me thinks.. :(

    All of a sudden, my screen went to *black* and my lappy lost power. So I pulled the adapter out, and I was able to reboot.

    But, it's making a *beeping noise* (annoying as all heck).. and no longer holding a charge. The battery is good, showing 5 levels.

    Anyone have this situation? I guess I'm going to have to order a new brick/power adapter...carap... :( I'm out of warranty on the brick.

    *sigh*

    Call Dell they should send you one for free if you have any warranty left

    I'm going to, I hope this isn't another situation with the soldering/Motherboard like I had before...everything was running fine with the battery/brick/adapter.

    So, somethings not right. :(

    They go out and it's pretty common . Last year I had to call Dell and get 4 of them for my 1330M.

    Oh gosh, that's crazy... :( Maybe I got lucky with the brick, then...

    I'm on Dell Eternal Hold now...glad it's the weekend and no charge to my cell phone minutes.... :eek:

    At least, I have my Mini 9 to use as backup when the battery dies.

    Dell is replacing my Brick/Adapter, my Motherboard, Heatsink/Fan, GPU,...
    (as I was having overheating problems).

    Onsite will be to my house w/in 48 hours. This is one of those cases where I'm glad I have my warranty intact! :)
