At about what angle do you position your xps m1530 LED or truelife screen for optimum brightness?

I noticed that a perfect 90 angle on my xps m1530 (which has a 9 cell battery) makes the colors look slightly washed out, I have to push the screen back a bit for an optimum viewing angle, anyone else?

The angle between your eyes and the laptop makes a much bigger difference than the angle between the base and the LCD of the laptop.

As meh noted, it really depends on where you are sitting in relation to the screen.

It is not the same when the laptop is sitting on a desk as when it is sitting in your lap. You just have to move the screen back and forth to get optimal viewing angles.

The perpendicular angle has to be between your eyes and the screen, not the screen relative to the laptop.

You're talking vertical eye position. Best view for the LED is eyes slightly above centered at 90 degrees to the screen.

87.5* any less or more and the screen is totally unviewable.
