Hi all. I've owned my studio xps 1640 for about a month now. Had zero issue with it. Love it. Yesterday, while doing some browsing, listening to a net cast etc. I was notified by Vista that my card had failed and was reconnecting? This did not work and brought up a blue screen telling me that if this was the first time this had happened to reboot (which it then did anyhow) so I did not have time to catch the rest. I went to Dell's site and Dl'd every bios, chip set and urgent driver update they had. I tried the Ati update but like others have mentioned it did not seem to take. I read that someone had this card fail on their first Studio. Is this behavior a forerunner of a critical malfunction? Is there anything on the Ati site that address this? I've looked but been unable to find out.
I am very concerned and any feedback is very much appreciated.
    Regards,

I was wondering if anyone has downloaded the feb 20 Ati hd3000 Catalyst and driver for Vista and 7?
II am about to give it a go but figured I'd try and see if anyone would respond with some feedback.

For follow up sake. I did down load the ATI feb 20 release for the Radeon 3000 series. Before I installed , I figured I'd better be thorough so called Dell. The guy Citrixed his way through my machine. Verified everything I had done re diagnostics was correct and then installed the new driver/package. So far. So good. I will post when some time has past as to if this worked or not. The guy said this was a common problem with ATI and Vista64. Plus I can now reinstal Beta 7 build 7057.
    Later,
