    Avg Time from Dell Build Manufacture Complete - Delivery

    I placed an order for my new Dell XPS 15 laptop on Dec 24 and I've been examining the status every day. I notice the status is telling me the laptop has been built, they give an ETA of 6 January, 2011 for delivery - does this sound correct? Originally I'd been told there'd be a three week wait.

    Could someone please tell me if Dell status estimates are usually reliable?

    That sounds average, consider new XPS line has had plenty of delays. Wait for Dell to send you an email for a tracking number.

    sounds like you will indeeed be getting it next week.
    i placed an order on early december, with an EDD of the 23rd, but unfortunatelly there was some backordered parts which delayed my delivery,
    its now been shipped and expecting delivery on the 4th according to UPS tracking tool.
