The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Maybe, not sure though as I did not see a way to take the cover behing the keyboard when I changed my keyboard.

    I however would not try this as if a problem arises with the keyboard and it is found that it was due to that film melting due to heat (the GPU and CPU are right next to the left side of the keyboard on the XPS 17) then it could very well void that part of your warranty.
