What do you guys reccomend? I just want to make sure I am going to buy something that will hold my XPS without having to take out my 9-cell.

I use this for mine. The 9-cell makes things a little strange, but it fits fine. Decent padding in it, though most these days seem to be kinda weak on that front. That said I've hauled mine on about 10 plane flights and it actually fits under the seat too (barely :D).

There are probably other good ones, but that was the best one that was in my local Microcenter. I like to see bags first-hand before buying.

Oh, and this is probably the best thing ever:

    Cargo™ Travel Organizer | BUILT

I put my iPod Touch / wireless numpad / 2 flash drives/misc cables, external laptop hdd in there with a clean microfiber cloth inbetween the pouches before being able to zip it with ease.

My mouse has it's own neoprene container or generally it'll be in there and I'm using the iPod.

I don't see they make Arca? Maybe not anymore?

    Wenger Computer Cases

I'd certainly be interested, but the weights are pretty high.

Another reason I like the sleeve or thin case is I travel a lot and it's generally carry-on + 1 personal item, which the laptop case can be that one personal item.

Do you have a link for that Gazzajagman?

    I'm very interested in awesome.
