My Xps m1530, has 15 days left of warranty, and the battery is saying that the capacity is 70%/poor. Design charge 86.6 Wh last full charge of 60.6 Wh. So i was wondering can i get a replacement on warranty, the laptop and battery are under a year old.

Call and tell them that your battery isnt holding a charge. They should send you a box to ship back your old battery, and they will send you another.

I did call Dell XPS tech support and they got me to do a check, of pressing down the battery button for 10 seoconds and three led lights lit up and the guy said that, that means that the batter lost 30 percent charge and Dell doesnt replace batteries unless they are more than 60 percent dead!

Oh... Sorry to hear that. :(

I guess they wont replace it then...

    I hate Dell Customer Support...

I guess you will have to purchase a new battery or deal with the one you have. Sorry.

But try doing some power cycles with it. Charge fully, drain fully, charge fully. O this every month or two to keep the battery from deteriorating any more.

But if you have only 15 days warranty left, that means you've had it for nearly a year.

Bateries are consumable items, thus Dell doesn't cover them under warranty.
    They explicitly state this.

Hence you are wasting your time ringing them, its something you are just going to have to replace.

    Thats what I just thought.
When I open the BIOS and go to the battery menu it says that Batterys may not be covered by warranty as they die after a certain time blablabla...
1 year warranty and 15 days left means you have it for 350 days and the battery lost 30 % ? Pretty good...

I figured they would cover it, after HP replaced my battery that was only holding charge for 1.5 hrs. when it used to hold for ~2.5hrs. But then again, Dell and HP support are different.
