    Battery wont charge

    Hey everyone, I have a Dell XPS M1330 and my 6 cell battery wont go past a 18% charge. Ive tried resetting the bio, charging while the computer was off and changing the battery while the system was on, nothing seems to work. Also, I have an el' cheapo 9 cell battery I bought off Amazon which fully charges but the power cuts out abruptly at around 90% battery. Any ideas?

    Any ideas?

    Also, the power cut off a few times while there was still battery left (though very little). I was able to turn the computer back on for a few minutes on that same battery. Could it be a mobo issue as well?

    I would simply ask for a replacement and state that you have concern that the power components of the laptop aren't acting right and you fear for a being welcomed home to a fire someday....... hey, it could happen??!
