After looking around at all the midsize 14-16 inch displays these 2 screens seem to be head and shoulders above the rest. Great brightness, incredible sharpness, precision colors, high color gamuts, better than average viewing angles.

The question is which display is the best overall? Does anyone have the knowledge to correctly compare these 2 screens?

I have had both although I have now sold my radiance.

The xps15 screen is slightly better than the radiance IMHO in both brightness and colour saturation. Both were astounding screens and put all my previous laptops (except macbook pro) screens to shame. Viewing angles were similar on both and good for a TN but not quite as good as my 13"mbp.

Ninja - can I ask you a couple quick questions? I have been trying to decide on which laptop to get and all the benchmarks I find online are reflective of the stock hard drives which ship with the units. It makes it difficult to compare a laptop with an SSD and one with an HD. I see that you had the Envy 14 with an SSD and now the XPS 15 with an SSD. Could you tell me your reasoning for selling the envy 14 (one of my top pics so far) and do you have any benchmark stats for it or the Dell? I'd love to see how they each performed.

    THanks!
