Hello, im running BF2BC on my new xps and so far it looks and plays flawlessly on high except there is "blinking" during gameplay. such as a quick flash of black, like if one were to blink during a fire fight, but i know its not part of the game.

any suggestions on settings for the game and for my laptop, i have the new nividia driver and the gt540m

Yeah its something with Optimus that causes the problem. What you can do is change BC2 to run in DX9 mode. You can do that by changing the option in your Settings file.

    C:\Users\*User Account Name*\Documents\BFBC2

    Open "Settings" with Notepad.

Find "DxVersion=" and put it like this: DxVersion=9

Save and blow stuff up! Hopefully that'll fix it for you.
