Because the M1710 is using the 7900 GS, is it unlikely that the E1705 will get it?

I can't remember... Did the dell XPS ever offer the 6800 go while it was also in the 9300?

I personally think the 7900 GTX should be standard on the M1710. I mean it's $2600, and with the 7900 GS it's a downgrade from (what was) the much cheaper M170.

I mean I hope the 7900 GS comes to the E1705, im still waiting to get mine. But that would be really stupid of Dell. If the E1705 did get the 7900, they would need to a.) make it no longer an option for the M1710, or b.) make the M1710 cheaper.

Well the M1710 comes with the option of a 256MB 7900GS or a 512MB 7900GTX. I don't think the GS will come out on the E1705 just because it would lower the popularity of the M1710.

Dell will most likely keep the 7800's in there...hopefully.
