I just wanted to know what is the best deal for a DELL xps m1530 right now. I think warranty is a must for me. I bought an xps m1530 on friday with this configuration i found on slick deals.

    http://configure.us.dell.com/dell...HMPA&s=eep

I ended up paying $1,410 + tax because of EEP, and dell member credit card (4% discount). But the setup i configured was 1770.

Did anyone config anything similar for less than $1770 before any discount? Is this the best price i can get? I cant use the 25 percent discount on EPP deals. My discount was 21 percent in total

Just want to know, if i overpaid

    my configs were

    a 2.5 gig processor
    4 gb ram
320gb hard drive free sensor 7200 rpm
    integrated sound blaster hd speakers
    4yr warranty including accidental damage
adobe photo shop and premiere elements
    1440x900 LED screen
    256 video card
    wireless N card
    6 cell battery
    Mcafee 15 months
    windows vista premium sp1

    Any help would be appreciated

did you seriously bump a thread 30 minutes after you posted it? dude, seriously.

that makes me not want to help you at all.

for a BEST DEAL people usually go to outlet.dell.com. But I don't think you overpaid for what you got considering the specs and price.

    http://slickdeals.net/showthread.php?sduid=354428&t=863669

the link above comes with T8300 and 250GB for $1268..... an extra $200 for a better processor, hard drive with free fall sensor and photoshop.... its OKAY, but if u didnt want those and would rather pay less, the $1268 woudl be a better deal...

not sure, becuase my deal has 250GB HDD(~$50 upgrade to 320, more for free-fall sensor), no audio card(~$100?), no photoshop(?), no printer($~40-100), so $300 for those upgrades isn't that bad, but if u want to save money...

montevina's coming... you can of course buy now and return without any restocking fees...besides, a 6-cell battery now would delay u by 6-10 days, the last time i checked dell epp
