Best Place to Purchase XPS M1530 9 Cell Battery?

Hey everyone. My battery on my XPS 1530 has lived its life. I need to buy a replacememt battery. The Dell website is offering me the amazing price of $189.99 (CDN dollars).

Can anyone recommend me a reliable online store or brick and mortar store that sells the XPS 1530 9 cell battery at a good price?

I also don't want to be buying a re-furbished battery. If it costs more to buy an original piece, so be it.

 

Hey. I recently had the same problem when my 6-cell died. I ordered a new supposedly genuine 6-cell from Hong Kong via eBay for about 55 USD, well knowing that it might not be genuine as advertised.

Anyway, when the battery arrived about 10 days later (free shipping too), I was happily surprised that it was in fact a genuine part as advertised, so I can definitely recommend doing this if you can live with a 6-cell.

Just make sure the item clearly states that it's a genuine part. It seems that the 9-cells offered by this seller do not, but the 6-cells do. Worst case, hopefully this helps you find a cheap genuine 9-cell somewhere if you can't live with a cheap 6-cell. Good luck.
