Best XPS m1530 Deal as of now?

I got a full refund for my defected XPS m1530 (bad screen/touch controls) and looked around for a better deal.
I paid $1600 for it, but I can get a better configuration for much less now.

After looking at other notebooks, I am still attracted to the XPS m1530 and may give it another go.

I got the exact same config as you, except with a 6 cell, and my total was much lower though, they only charged me 3% tax instead of 8% so I got it even cheaper.. plus I emailed them about the charging/shipping and the guy just upgraded me to next day shipping.

and to ^^^^ He cant get it for $1226 like you because the 9 cell is $119. However he can reduce the price about $75 with the 5%

Personally if I were you, get the 6 cell, and order a 9 cell on ebay. You'll have an extra battery, and it'll be cheaper

 

i would upgrade warranty to 4 yrs, just for the heck of it

 

I got a sweet deal on the one in my sig ... but sadly the deal that I got ran out on 7/21. Yours seems like a good deal though.
