Can anyone direct me to a free benchmarking site or program so i can see how my CPU is running at full load. Possibly best way to check Temps.

Thanks for any help as i'm a little new to this!

    HWMonitor to check temps.
Prime95 running 8 threads for i7 CPU, running 4 threads for i5 CPU is a good way to get those temps up.

I'm using HWMonitor, i was wondering why it wasn't displaying the temps on my GPU? any idea how to get this to come up? Thanks! I'm trying to get all the info together to see if repasting would be necessary.

30 minutes is a pretty standard amount of time for these types of tests on laptops. You may only see a 1 degree difference if you run it for 24 hours instead of only 30 minutes.

Also, if you want to test your GPU, download Furmark.

For a huge amount of stress run Prime95 (8 threads, Torture Test, small FFts) with Furmark (Stability test) at the same time for 30 minutes. Just remember that no single "real-world" application/video game will ever come anywhere close to the amount of stress put on the system by Prime95+Furmark.
