So I've decided on getting the XPS M1530 before school starts. It seems that the lowest price I can manage to get with the below specs is 1900$ through the NBR website (sticky in forum). I know that they're trying to flush out their current stock before the new model comes out, whenever that is. Is now the best time to buy?

    T9300
    4MB
    LCD LED 1440x900
    GeForce 8600M GT
    320GB
    9cell battery
    3 year warranty
    Integrated SoundBlaster
    DVDRW...
    Intel wireless NIC

    noooo
u can get $1300+ from Dell EPP, seeing that ur going to college (see www.delluniversity.com for details)

    http://forums.slickdeals.net/showthread.php?t=863669
    ( u missed the stackable 5% off coupon by one day[expired yesterday]..... but its still $1268+tax for T8300, 8600, 4GB, 250GB 5400rpm, LED LCD, intel-n, 4 yr warranty+accidental damage+lojack)

if u want now, the m1530 deal is pretty sweet... i wont worry too much about the GPU failing..... seeing the long warranty and lack of problems in the m1530 line....

$1900 is WAAY too much for that M1530. Look around the site you'll see lots of info on how to get a better deal.

it doesn't seem like I can do better than $1780 + tax and shipping for the above specs. This this with a 3% EPP and 12% discount. Any current stackable coupons are dead. I'm going to try to hold off as long as I can before I have to make the purchase.

My bad, I thought it expired already. That will bring it down to $1450 + tax and shipping. Thanks.
