Hey guys, I just thought that this was missing from this forum, a decent and safe session for vLite to slim down your Vista installation! So, everybody post their sessions along with their laptop configurations and comments on usability, features and speed! Please keep in mind that I will be removing most of the included drivers from the Vista dvd on all sessions, since I'm integrating around 90% of the needed drivers.

    My specs are:
    XPS m1530

    Dell 1395 Wireless mini card
    Dell 355 Bluetooth 2.0
    nVidia 8600

    Session Version 1

    Speed: 5/5
Very fast on boot up and running really smoothlyl!
    Usability: 2/5
No wifi connectivity is a deal breaker for me, problems with my digital camera aswell, usb devices do not work correctly or at all.
    Features: 4/5
I've kept most things, UAC (though disabled), Aero, Media Center, Prefetch, while removing less important applications like games, notepad and such.
    Issues:

    - Microsoft WPD FileSystem Volume driver error popped up when plugging flash disk / external usb HDD / dSLR camera.

    - Wifi located networks but could not connect

    Verdict: DO NOT USE!
