hi guys im hoping to get some help with installation of `Sound Blaster Audigy ADVANCED MB`

i have a dell xps m1730 on vista

wen i got my laptop a few weeks ago (may 2009) everything worked fine and i installed all of the suppplied drivers and the `Sound Blaster Audigy ADVANCED MB` cd and all my games and all worked fine i could listen to music and do everything i wanted in creative and anything else

then a few days later i upgraded to vista service pack 2 and installed office enterprise 2007 for university and all of my audio from that point just vansihed! i received error messages from any song i tryed to play `error during playbak` and there is still no sound on windows or games or internt or creative :(

ive since uninstalled office enterprise in case it was conflicting and still no sound so i uninstalled all the audio drivers for creative and the on board audio drivers and all of the creative files and restarted my comp and checked program files for any left over files in creative folder and deleted them

i then restarted again and the laptop automatically installed the on board audio drivers for me (sigmatell c major) and still there was zero sound and there was an icon on taskbar a speaker with an X on it and it said `no audio output device installed`

so i thought ok well ive uninstalled it so thats probs correct then i got the purchase disc and reinstalled creative and then restarted, then wen all the creative programs was bak on the programs list i went to use them and they loaded fine but still no sound anywhere on my laptop for anything and the speaker on task bar is still red X

i have no idea what the problem is! :(

    thanks peeps
