    Black scary line on screen

    i have a dell xps L501x. last night i saw a black line which was like, 1 cm long on the bottom right corner. i switched off and now when i look at it, its like two inches and dirty and thick. what is the cause, i use my laptop very gently, no rough uses. this xps has only given me worries. any suggestions on this? i would like to attach a pic, but i dont know what to do when it asks the url of my pic, cant i just upload from my laptop? please help.
