Where can I get a media player to play Blu-Ray movies on my M1730? I have a Blu-Ray drive, that I ordered with my laptop. But Dell Failed to give me the program.

I'd contact Dell. The should give you one. If not PowerDVD or WinDVD will work.

Call them and demand it. There is no reason you should be paying for an upgrade and not be able to fully use it.

Wasn't the Dell Media Player disc included? What happens when you do insert a blu-ray disc?

Media Direct will play some Blu-Rays. The 3.5 version that is shipped on the M1730 wont play the newer ones, MD 4.0 will. You can get Arcsoft Total Media Extreme or Cyberlink PowerDVD to play Blu-Rays also. Dell doesn't seem interested in updating MD 3.5 to play the latest BDs. They also wont release it for the M1730.
