 Has anyone who reinstalled Windows had any problems connecting Bluetooth Devices? I can't get anything to connect. When I try to connect my mouse it shows up in devices but the light never stops flashing on the mouse, and eventually it disappears from Devices and it never works. Does anyone know how to fix it please?

Yes it didnt work with the driver updated. I read something that it might have to do with it being connected before i reinstalled but I didn't understand how they said to make the devices forget their old pairings.

Try reinstalling the bluetooth software fully (first uninstall it)... not just the driver alone.

or can you send/recieve data through bluetooth using a mobile phone or something?

My iPhone wouldn't connect correctly either. I even tried uninstalling until it was generic Bluetooth and that didn't work.

Maybe your Bluetooth card is faulty?
Was it working normally before the clean install?
Btw, the iPhone's Bluetooth does not support file transfer if that's what you tried doing, but could you see the iPhone when searching fOr devices?

yes it worked before. For the iPhone it shows but no drivers installed and I couldn't even play music from it like I could before.

I think it would have been an option so you would have to check the support site for your configuration.

Still didn't work. I just got a non-bluetooth wireless mouse. At least they have those nano dongles now so they don't stick way out of the laptop. :D

Weird! Windows Update showed an update for the Bluetooth, and then when I installed that and tried again, I was able to connect all my Bluetooth devices again. I then installed the Dell one, and everything still worked. :confused2:
