I have had a Kensington Mini Bluetooth mouse now since I got my laptop and it has NEVER been smooth. It has always been laggy and sometimes unusable. I read and a lot of people have a lot of success with the mouse. I have tried EVERYTHING from changing the batteries to even having the mouse replaced by Kensington. All of my drivers are up to date etc, I read something about how the M1530 needs a new WIDCOMM Stack but I don't know what that is. Can anyone shed some light on this situation? I love this mouse and want it to stop lagging and run smooth!

Bluetooth is a wireless connection to your laptop...so you don't have to use a dongle..its all *wireless*.

If you have bluetooth built-in, and a bluetooth mouse..it will work ;) :)

    Edit: you already have bluetooth...sorry.

Mine was the battery...I had this problem a couple of weeks ago with mine and it was lagging and such...and I had bad batt's in there. ...I had also tried what you had done above.

First time it happened to me, and glad that it was bad batteries vs. anything else. ;)

If it is brand new, can you return it and exchange it for a new one? Since you have tried just about everything?? ;)

If you installed Kensington's software and drivers, you might want to try getting rid of it (and uninstall the driver in Device Manager) and just using Windows' built-in Bluetooth and mouse drivers. You'll need to run "Bluetooth Devices" and have it look for devices to recognize it.
