I've had my M1530 for about a week or so and I've bought a bluetooth mouse and a bluetooth headset. I have to literally reinstall drivers for my mouse (Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse 5000) everytime I power back up. It makes no sense. Somehow the bluetooth icon that is in the bottom right corner of the screen disappears after I shut down. I'm not sure if that is normal or not, but I assumed when you used the hibernate feature that the current settings are saved to the hard disk drive so that when you power back up you can pretty much start out where you left off. Sometimes when I try to get the bluetooth running again, it won't have any devices listed and if I search for the mouse (having the mouse turned on) it can't find it...so I have to reinstall the mouse.

Then I bought some Sony headphones (DR-BT21G) and these things are terrible. I don't know if it's the Dell bluetooth or the headphones but the sound is reminiscent of playing a vinyl record on a broken down record player back in the 80's. Not to mention that I have to keep reinstalling these things too.

I've never had to deal with bluetooth so maybe I'm doing something wrong but I don't think so. I've followed the directions to a T for installing everything.

So did I buy crap products or is the bluetooth just that bad?

I have had no problems whatsoever with my Logitech V470 Bluetooth Mouse. Maybe there is a problem with your Bluetoothcard? I do not use hibernate mode though. What happens when you shut it off? Does it come up and work ok?
