Anyone having problems with bluetooth / USB ports / touchscreen on their XPS 9560? They suddenly stopped working.
The bluetooth adapter doesn't show up in "Device Manager" anymore.
Also my USB ports stopped working at the same time. Devices aren't recognized anymore. Charging my phone still works.
The touchscreen works in the BIOS though. Already tried disabling/enabling it in the BIOS, but without luck.
Anyone knows what could have caused it? I assume these issues are all connected...
I also locked driver updates for my Bluetooth/WiFi adapter (Killer) / Nvidia card / Inter graphics card in the "local group policy", because I had some minor problems before.
Thought it was maybe because of a windows update, but the last update was installed on Nov 25th, before the problems occurred.

If anyone had experienced the same and found a solution?

    Thanks a lot,

    J-J

PS: I'm on Windows 10 Pro x64 (fresh install) with drivers from this thread.

    Try a battery pull reset.
    1. Remove battery
    2. Unplug the unit
    3. Hold power switch down a couple times (20 seconds)
    4. Plug in AC (no battery yet in case of acpi conflict) and boot.

Good luck. Sounds like USB Hub problem though.

    Hello J-J,

As Bluetooth is enumerated through USB, if you are having issues with a USB device or hub, then that will prevent the Bluetooth from appearing. This is normal. Check in your Device Manage for disabled USB devices or hubs, or errors, and work on resolving those, and your Bluetooth issue will resolve itself. If you do not have any errors showing, try unplugging all of your USB devices from the machine. Often, one of them will have an error, and simply reseating the device will resolve it. Also check for chipset driver, BIOS, and USB drivers for your machine on the manufacturer website.

    Thank you for the advise.
Actually I restored a backup I made 2 weeks before I had the issue. For the moment the issue didn't occur again.
Let's hope it doesn't come back.

This does seem to be a USB internal failure tbh
