I wanted to use this expresscard SSD http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...&cm_re=expresscard_ssd-_-20-161-325-_-Product and install Windows 7 on it for my Dell XPS M1330. I was wondering if it could even boot from the expresscard though?

I don't think the bios supports it. It doesn't on my xps m1530 so it's unlikely they'd have included an option for the 1330.

You can check though by going into the bios at start-up.
