Bought it from ebay works great apart from when I am typing some of the buttons stick and it becomes very enoying when writing a email as letters are missing. even the left and right main mouse buttons dont work that well.

I am guessing i need to re-sit the keyboard or something ? but i have no idea on how to remove it on my M1710, any ideas ?

    Thanks !!

HP has instructions online to remove parts from their laptops. Check it here.

Really simple process... See THIS LINK for online instructions. Sounds like someone may have spilled something on the keyboard or it justs needs a really good cleaning. Try a couple of blasts of compressed air. If this doesn't work, pick up a replacement keyboard via eBay. They only run about 15 or so...

A slightly wet cloth should be fine. Compressed air, as also suggested, is even better.

Failing that, buy a replacement keyboard off e-bay....
