Bought refurb Studio XPS 13 with CCFL. How much worse is it compared to LED?

I have an M1330 with LED and love the display. I came across such a good deal for a refurb Studio XPS 13 that i could not pass it up - (P8800, 4GB, 500GB 7200rpm, 512MB N10M-GS, Wireless 1510, Bluetooth 370 for $875 shipped). Only problem is that it has a CCFL screen instead of LED.

Will the difference be really noticeable? Am i going to regret it?

Worst case, would it be possible for me to swap the CCFL LCD with the LED one from my XPS 1330?

Goddamn it ... couldn't find one with the 210m anywhere on ebay under $900.00 ... I'm pissed, for the price you struck god, I would like to know this too, and there's WLED screens on ebay but I don't know which one that's design for the 1340, someone want to chime in ?

I have ccfl screen on my xps 1340 and I think its really great, I like it more than of the white macbook, but I never seen the led xps 1340 in person. You got a great deal!!!! also ur model has 2.0 pixel webcam and the led one has 1.3 due to a slightly slimmer screen.. a few ppl reported that the webcam quality on led screen sucks compared to ccfl... but if you dont care about the webcam and you have a warranty on your laptop then you can always call dell and try to buy an led screen, on ebay you might get some Chinese bootleg.

But mainly you wont regret it!!! I like mine, Im sure the LED is better since its an upgrade but the screen your getting is beautiful too!

I don't know which manufacturer made the CCFL panel for your notebook but I have a m1530 with an LG and it has a great image, clear, and bright. Some of the samsungs for the same model were not nearly as good. With the non LED screens, it is a toss up just because some manufacturers have better quality product.

I also have a xps 16 with a LED screen and really the biggest difference is that the LED gets much brighter and the lighting is very even.
With both, I typically don't max out the brightness anyway, I find dimmer settings easier on my eyes.

My friend and I bought have the XPS 1340. I have the WLED screen, he has the CCFL screen. I like my screen MUCH better. Better brightness, color, viewing angle, etc.

So the laptop was delivered today and i dont like the CCFL screen :(

Its harder on the eyes than the LED. Can i have them change the screen and pay the difference?
