I have triedto install the Dell update for my Evdo card on a M1330 running Vista 32bit.

When I run the update the drivers unzip and then begin the install process and then immediately cease and begin a rollback.

I have tried eveything in the book and been on the phone for hours with Dell tech support.

The card works well otherwise but the driver is 2 years old.

I recall the same problem trying to update the bluetooth driver but I gave up easier that time.

    Any suggestions?

If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Agreed. Most driver updates won't give performance upgrades (primarily only video and chipset will), they fix known problems. If you don't have one of those problems, no need to update.

    Not a very helpful reply.

The only thing l can suggest would be to go into Safe Mode and uinstall the driver and then reboot normally and try installing the updated driver again. Good luck.
