    Hello!

Just want to hear what your thoughts about my "issue" is.
Im very dissapointed at how bad company 2 runs on my dell studio xps 1645 with i7 + rgbled.
If i want the game to run some where near smooth i need to set the setting att low . Is it supposed to be like this ? i Thought atleast i cold have played it at medium.
Exept that the fan is running wvery lowd and the laptop gets very hot.

    ( i have the 130w adapter + a07

that sucks, I'd like to know if anyone else is experiencing this problem. I was seriously considering purchasing this to play on my 1645. (I on the other hand no longer have the RGBELD)

Do you have problems with any other titles and what resolution are you running in. 1920x1080 or 1280x720?

    Mass Effect 2, Bioshock 2, Left4Dead2, Crysis / Warhead?

Is your windows power plan set to high performance? Also check the ATI Catalyst settings to make sure they are set to high performance as well.

    I list common problems
1.too much of applications running in background
    2.Video drivers not updated
3.Low Hard disk space. (or game running from external HDD)
4.Power plan may have not set to High performance
    5.DirectX update.
6.and sometimes desktop resolution also interferes with game resolution.

i think you 1080p res is too much. the card is good but its not that good. i cant even run the game well on my desktop at that res and i had a 4850. So your expecting too much if u want like 50+ frames. To some users 25-35 frames is smooth to others not so much.

With studio xps 1645 i can only play Starcraft 2 on 1920x1080 medium setting.

    Ultra lags with ultra/high setting

Guess ATI 4670 cant handle Blizz RTS graphics...

No offense, but Starcraft II is still in Beta (if not earlier). ;) I would take whatever performance you get from your 1645 with a grain of salt, as the game isn't actually finished. ;)

So guys, I have been playing BF2BC2 for about a week now...I m loving it....I have the 1647 with i7 620m dual core, I play at 1280x720 (around 80 fps) with high settings, however, you gotta do a few changes to the settings, especially change DXVersion=auto to 9.. Here is how to do that....hope this helps guys...Happy gaming!!!!

ps. maybe we should get a NBR clan for this game...haha~~

or "fps" is not all when you test how good your computer handle a game ?

    I'd join an NBR clan...

I had a problem with battlefield 2 after I accidentally let windows auto update my video card driver. I then switched to the latest video card drivers using the mod tool from hardware heaven. I run on the lowest resolution and medium settings and everything seems to be fine.
