This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     This just appeared out of the blue:

    Is there any way to fix this, or will I need to replace the screen?
    (the white background is just a full screen image so you can see the pixels - the rest of the laptop is fine)

    It's more likely to be the video card than the screen. You could try an external monitor. If you get the same result, then its the video card.
