This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Buy at Dell.com or Miscrosoft Store?

    At Dell, you get to customize your laptop specs. Downside is longer production / shipping time, and the laptop comes with "crap" on it like bloatware and recovery partititons.

    Microsoft Store... has stock immediately, but fewer selection. Also comes with the benefit of being a Microsoft Signature Edition laptop config, which is a clean config with basically just drivers (no bloatware, or recovery partitions)
