    Buying M1330 but need input first

    I want to buy this laptop but two things r holding me down....the graphics card...will the 8400 GS be able to let me play NFS Pro Street?? N the hdmi port...if i connect a HDMI cable...only select to view display on the TV and not LAptop LCD..can i get resultions like 1920*1020 or watever??

    Yes, may need lower setting though.

    Yes, you can also run the laptop screen and a 1920*1080 screen easily together.

    well the laptops native resolution is 1280*800..then hw do i get 1920*1080 together??? any steps or tutorial?? or atleast is it possible to get 1920*1080 on the TV with laptop LCD off?? or Kreeeee u meant that ill get 1280*800 on laptop n 1920*1080 on the TV??

    You can get 1920*1080 on the tv with the laptop closed.

    I regularly have:

    1920*1080 via HDMI + laptop at 1280*800

    or

    1920*1080 via HDMI + laptop screen off and lid closed

    connect cable to laptop and TV

    something display settings should popup, asking how you want to set ur TV up (either extended display or mirror display or something)

    then u can change settings to whatever native resolution ur TV is

    Or just press fn+F8 to cycle through the screen setup options then right click on the desktop to change resolutions.

    Thanks Kreeeee..does this apply t all laptops with 1280x800 res n HDMI port or onli dell?? And Kreeeee is it possible u could send me a pic showing the 192x1080 resolution??? And will this 8400M GS be able to let me play games on this resolution on my tv with evrythng set to low? Wanna see the clearity..Thanks

    You won't be gaming at that resolution on the 8400GS on anything made in the last 3 years.

    I don't know other what laptops you can do this on and I'm afraid I don't have a camera.
