Am looking for some help please

Have an M1330, installed with XP Pro SP3

    T9300
    4GB Ram
    320GB HDD
    Mat****a DVD +- RW UJ-857G

Installed Roxio Esay MEdia Creator 7

Can read everything off DVD's and CD's but cannot write anything to any type of disk, not DVD's or CD'S etc...

Also have an M1530 with VISTA Home Premium factory installed T9300 with 3GB RAM and Roxio 10 - it can't burn disks either

Is it the drive that is rubbish because the coincidence seems too great

BTW - managed to install all drivers for the M1330 under XP Pro

Would welcome all suggestions and interested if anyone else has experienced the same or similar issues

I also have a Dell D610 with an NEC DVD R/W and Roxio 7 works fine on that one

    Thanks for any help
