This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I've run out of space on my M1210's 100Gb hard drive and am looking to upgrade. Because of a customer service snafu Dell has given me a $100 certificate to use at their store, so I am confined to their offerings. It looks like my best choices are between CMS 320Gb 5400 RPM and Dell 250Gb 7200 RPM drives.

    Any opinions? Thanks!

    Personally I will go for the first one, more space and less noise and virtually the same speed, by the way how much they are asking for it, I saw 320Gb , 7200 RPM for $90 on newegg
