    Hi,

I am looking to get out of Dell Hell after they sent me a LX401 as a replacement for the M1330 that caused endless problems(10 repairs).

They sent a tech to replace the screen but he said it was the stock B140XW01 Au Optronics WXGA screen.

Has Dell replaced your screen with an LG screen, especially if you were a 1530 user? I just want to get a laptop I can actually edit photos on without having pesky grain, bad contrast/color, bad viewing angles to ruin the experience.

    Thanks.

I got the same offer from dell.
Dell is replacing my XPS1330 with XPS LX401x....
I have noticed...all the reviews about LX401x are talking bad about the display. Did you get rid of this problem.
Could you please guide me what are the things that I should take care of..during the system configuration build.

i got a standard build that could not be changed. 4gb, i5, 500gb drive. i tried to swap out the screen but dell sent the same crappy one to replace it with. the only way around it is to do it yourself. sad.

The laptop is covered by Complete Care 3-year warranty(I think).
