    Hey All,

I just talked to dell via a chat and they said that I cannot upgrade to anymore then 4GB of ram which I currently have. I looked at the specs on the build site and the Ram are all SDRAM at the same 1067 MHz. Am I missing something?

And if I can upgrade where can I buy some because Dell does not offer 4GB sticks of RAM on their website.

    Thanks

I think you can go as high as 8GB, 4GB per memory slot. Dell probably meant that you had no available slots and therefore can't add memory. But that doesn't mean you can't swap out for higher capacity modules.

Here is a website with good, cheap ram. I have had nothing but good experiences with crucial.

This is the homepage where you can enter your own computer model manually or you can let it scan your computer: http://www.crucial.com/index.aspx

This is the page for your computer (I already entered your information) where it tells you what kind of ram you can get, how much per slot and has the different types and amounts listed below: http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.aspx?model=Studio XPS 13

It isn't worth it at this point. 4GB sticks are WAY too expensive and almost everything runs great with 4GB total. Unless you have a specific reason to do it, don't.

I agree with peterf, But if you were for some reason determined, crucial is most likely your best bet.
